Common questions about this kit
Aluminum-profile cockpit?
Yes for a serious rig — extruded aluminum (8020) is rigid, adjustable, and zero-flex under high-torque DD and pro pedals. A wheel stand flexes at this level; the profile rig does not move.
High-torque DD (15+ Nm)?
Yes for fidelity — more torque means more detail in the force feedback (and more strength to fight), matching the high-end of what a real car's steering does. Pro DD bases deliver detail cheaper wheels cannot.
Triple monitor or VR?
Both work for depth — triple monitors for comfort and long sessions, VR for unmatched presence and depth perception at the cost of comfort. Most pros triple-screen; VR is the visceral alternative.
Bass shakers?
Yes — tactile transducers in the seat let you feel the road, curbs, and wheelspin through your body, adding a channel the wheel and pedals cannot. The cheap immersion upgrade that completes the feel.
User Reviews
Pro sim cockpit and my battlestation share the zero-flex-rig brain — 8020 profile and high-torque DD, with bass shakers for the feel channel. Form-correction and triple-monitor or VR, agreed.
