The kit to start sim racing for real. A direct-drive wheel base and rim, load-cell pedals, a rigid wheel stand, a shifter, and the PC/console to drive it. Force feedback you can feel through your hands; brakes you modulate with your foot. A game pad is not sim racing.

Common questions about this kit
Direct-drive wheel?
Yes — direct-drive (the wheel on the motor shaft, no gears) is the force-feedback standard; you feel grip, slip, and curb in detail belt/gear wheels blur. The single biggest sim-racing upgrade.
Load-cell pedals?
Yes — a load-cell brake senses pressure (like a real pedal), not travel, so you brake consistently and trail-brake. The pedal that drops seconds off your lap times; a potentiometer brake cannot.
Rigid wheel stand?
Yes — a flexing mount ruins the force feedback and your consistency; a rigid stand (or full rig) transfers the forces to the floor, not the wobble. Clamp-to-desk works to start; a stand is the first real upgrade.
Console or PC for sims?
PC for the titles (iRacing, ACC, AMS2, Le Mans Ultimate) and mods; console (GT7, Forza) for ease and cost. The gear transfers between platforms; pick the platform for the titles and the online racing.
User Reviews
Sim racing starter and my gaming rig share the direct-drive-and-load-cell gospel — force feedback you feel and brakes you modulate drop seconds. A rigid stand before a flexing mount, agreed.
