Common questions about this kit
Profile control / logger?
Yes — pro roasting is repeatability; a logger records the bean-temperature curve so you can repeat (or fix) a roast exactly. The difference between "a good roast once" and "a good roast every time."
Green-bean moisture meter?
Yes for consistency — bean moisture and density change how a roast develops, and vary by lot and storage. Measuring them lets you adjust the profile per batch instead of roasting blind.
Cupping?
Yes — cupping (blind tasting, standardized) is how you evaluate each roast objectively. A cupping set and the routine turn "I like this one" into a scored, comparable result that drives the next roast.
1kg batch size?
Yes for a serious home roaster or tiny cafe — enough to drink/sell through the freshness window (2 weeks) without roasting every day. Smaller batches mean more roasting; bigger means stale coffee.
User Reviews
Pro roasting setup and my espresso setup share the repeatability-is-the-point gospel — a profile logger and cupping turn a good roast once into every time. Measure the green bean, agreed.
