Floats — how many?
More than you think — one or two per guest, plus a big group float. People rotate; a bare pool is a boring pool. Get a pump; lung-inflating floats is misery.
Glass around a pool?
Never — broken glass in or near a pool shuts the party and the pool. Unbreakable cups (Tritan or stainless) are the only safe drinkware.
Sunscreen station?
Yes — a visible, pump-style sunscreen by the door, reapplied every 90 minutes. Sunburns end pool parties and friendships.
Waterproof speaker?
Yes — a floating IPX7 speaker keeps the music on the water and survives a splash. Keep the phone away from the pool; the speaker takes the risk.
