The kit that kills dead spots. A real router (not the ISP freebie), a two-pack mesh for coverage, wired backhaul where you can, a modem if your ISP allows, and a basic switch for the wired runs. Wired where it matters, mesh where it has to.

Common questions about this kit
Router over the ISP gateway?
Yes — put the ISP gateway in bridge mode and run your own router. Your gear is faster, gets updates, and lets you control your own network.
Mesh or one strong router?
One strong router for a small home; mesh for multi-floor or thick walls. Wire the mesh nodes backhaul where possible — wired backhaul doubles mesh throughput.
Wired backhaul — worth it?
Yes — a mesh node talking wirelessly to the router halves its speed; wired backhaul keeps each node at full speed. Run the cable once if you can.
Own the modem?
In the US, often yes — buying a DOCSIS 3.1 modem pays for itself in about a year versus the ISP rental fee. Check your ISP's approved list first.
