FAQ
Common questions about this kit
How thick should my mat be?
6mm (about a quarter inch) is the sweet spot — enough cushion for knees without wrecking your balance. Drop to 3 to 4mm once your wrists strengthen.
Do I really need blocks?
Yes, even flexible people. Blocks bring the floor to you in forward folds and add support in restorative poses — they are not just for beginners.
A bolster, for home?
For restorative and yin practice, a bolster is the difference between holding a pose for one minute and holding it for ten. Worth it.
How often should I practice?
Three to four short sessions beat one long one. A 20-minute daily flow does more than a 90-minute weekly class.

Home yoga over a gym membership — respect. The blocks-are-not-just-for-beginners point is exactly right.
