Common questions about this kit
24GB GPU — for image gen?
Yes — Stable Diffusion XL and Flux run far better with headroom; a 24GB card generates at high resolution and batch sizes where 8 to 12 GB cards stutter. VRAM is the canvas size of AI art.
ControlNet and masking?
Yes — ControlNet (pose/depth/edge guides) and inpainting masks are where AI art becomes controllable, not a slot machine. A pen tablet for masking is the difference between fighting a mouse and directing the model.
Local vs cloud generation?
Local for privacy, speed, and no per-image cost once you own the GPU; cloud for trying the biggest models you cannot fit. Most serious AI artists run local and rent cloud for the occasional huge render.
Color-accurate monitor?
Yes — AI art is color-sensitive; an uncalibrated monitor makes you judge output on lies. A 99% sRGB/Adobe RGB IPS, calibrated, is the floor for producing images you will print or sell.
User Reviews
AI art rig and my LLM PC share the VRAM-is-the-canvas gospel — 24GB and a pen tablet for ControlNet masking turn a slot machine into a tool. Local over per-image cloud, agreed.
