For CrossFit (drops, cleans, snatches), yes. Bumpers protect the bar, the floor, and you. Iron chips and dents everything.

Adjustable plyo box?

Yes — three heights in one box, and a soft-foam version saves your shins when you miss a jump. Wood is classic; foam is forgiving.

Wall or freestanding rig?

Wall-mount for a garage (bolts to studs, no footprint); freestanding if you rent or move it. Both need real anchoring for kipping.

How to program?

Follow a free online WOD source or a structured program. CrossFit rewards variance — do not cherry-pick the workouts you like.
