For when you want one perfect cup and the ritual of making it. A gooseneck kettle for control, a dripper, a good burr grinder, and a scale so your brew ratio is exact. Half the joy is the pour; the other half is tasting what a 1:16 ratio actually means.

FAQ
Common questions about this kit
Why a gooseneck kettle?
Pour control is everything. A gooseneck lets you hit the bed gently and evenly; a regular spout churns the slurry and over-extracts.
What brew ratio?
Start at 1:16 (1 g coffee to 16 g water) and adjust by taste. More coffee (1:15) = stronger and less extracted; less (1:17) = weaker and more extracted.
Do I need a burr grinder for pour-over?
Yes. Blade grinders make dust and boulders, so the cup is bitter and sour at once. A cheap burr grinder is a massive upgrade.
Light roast or dark?
Light. Pour-over is built to show off clarity, florals, and acidity — all of which dark roasts mute. Save dark roasts for espresso.
